Spyderco's popular Sage Series is getting an EDC makeover with a 13% lighter Sage 5 Lightweight Edition. Sage 5 Lightweight model sports gray FRN scales and a satin finished Maxamet steel blade.
The Spyderco Sage 5 highlights Spyderco's own patented Compression Lock,
which uses one of the handle's stainless steel liners, the stop pin,
and an upward-facing ramp on the blade's tang to create an incredibly
strong and user-friendly lock mechanism. This addition to the Sage
Series features a full flat ground blade, bi-directional FRN handle
scales, and a reversible wire pocket clip.
